Almost there - Being 37 weeks pregnant with twins
Did you ever want to know how someone looks being 37 weeks pregnant with twins? Well this is me with my huge tummy... Officially the twins are allowed to get out now. Everything looks fine.
Astonishingly this pregnancy was even easier than the last one. No lower back pain, no high blood pressure, weight gain by now is 18 kg. I had gained the same with only one baby last time.
So let's see how the labour will be, hope it will be the same nice surprise as the pregnancy itself! I dare not think about anything beyond labour yet... only how they might look like, whether they will look the same as my daughter or totally different perhaps?

DIY: Stamps for printing on fabric
This was last weekend's project. I made a stamp from foam craft sheet and a piece of wood and then used it for printing on a shirt purchased at Muji.
For the stamp you just need to cut the shape out of the foam board and then you glue it onto a flat piece of wood in the same size. Once the glue is properly dried you can use your new stamp and fabric paint and decorate your shirt etc.

Milk magazine - Kid's collection
Source: http://www.milkmagazine.net/
I found this magazine in my book shop lately. It's a great preview of the spring/summer collection of numerous brands. I already found so many inspiring ideas I want to adapt (unfortunately most of the clothes are quite expensive and not available in Hong Kong).
I like the yellow trend a lot. So maybe I will just dye some white clothes...
Then I also saw a cute dress with a whale print by www.bobochoses.com . And a cute octopuss shirt (www.picnik-barcelona.com). A lace dress by www.kza.fr . Lots of cute stuff at www.imps-elfs.com , bow ties on tops and dresses and lots of other stuff... So I guess it will be a creative spring for us!

Styles out of my wardrobe for expecting mums
Some style ideas out of my wardrobe for expecting mums. Funny that I always wear black trousers. I actually own a nice pair of .rust coloured cord trousers (maternity wear). But it seems I haven't taken any photos wearing it yet... It was amazing to see how the belly disappeared when I put on my blouse for Christmas eve. On other occasions I prefer it comfy and tend to wear long stretchy shirts and I found that small jackets look great on an expanding belly. Too wide clothes usually tend to make you look bigger than you really are in my opinion.

Maternity fashion
Anybody pregnant and in need for some inspiration of what to wear? I just browsed images of expecting mums in google and liked those listed above. So tomorrow I really need to check my wardrobe and copy some of the looks. Only problem is that most of my clothes seem to be too short now for my growing belly...

Nothing seems to fit anylonger
It's getting cooler over here in Hong Kong and I got the winter clothes out of the wardrobe but only to find out that most of the stuff is too small. The worst are the jumpers and jackets. The sleeves are way too short just after one season. I was so sad to say 'Good Bye' to all those cute clothes. At least some of the trousers are still fine.
If you have another child you can keep all those clothes I said to myself before and now we are really going to have another one. BUT!!! It's not a girl. So 'Bye Bye' all you supercute girl's clothes. My friend will be the lucky one. Her little girl should fit into all that stuff.
At least I can keep the toys...

What to wear for Christmas this year?
Any ideas yet how you will dress your little one for the festive events this year? I haven't. So I started browsing the internet for ideas...
Here is my girl's section:

And here comes the boy's section (this was actually pretty hard as I have a little girl and boy's fashion tends to be a bit boring in my eyes):

I like the red girl's ensemble very much. So now I only have to check what we already have and where I can find the missing items... Happy X MAS shopping!

DIY: Umbrella Shirt
Remember that I showed you the super cute umbrella jumper by Bobo? I bought a plain grey shirt from H&M and then used some wool for felting to make the umbrella. I just stitched the wool onto the shirt. Afterwards I used warm water and soap to prefelt the wool. A round in the washing machine did the rest. Now we have our own cool umbrella shirt!

DIY: Necklace for your little princess
This little necklace is ready in a few minutes. All you need is a nice ribbon and a leftover piece of leather. Cut the leather into a nice shape e.g. a flower, a leaf or an animal etc. Then punch a hole into the leather shape (with the paper punch), lead the ribbon through the hole, make a tight dot to close the ribbon and here you go! Make sure that you don't leave your toddler unattended wearing the necklace as they could strangle themselves.

Baby Gap is now in Hong Kong
GAP has finally opened it's Central shop. But I am a bit disappointed. Too much pink, tulle and glitzy items for my taste (OK the boy's stuff is something different). Plus their winter collection is made for a snowy US or Canadian market but we still have t-shirt weather here in Hong Kong so who needs furry vests? I was tempted by one of them though, yes they are soooo cute, but it really makes no sense! So let's wait for their summer collection.

Hong Kong themed T-Shirts

I just bought this lovely Hong Kong themed taxi T-Shirt for my daughter. This is actually a really cool idea! Also have a look at the other fantastic designs at little local. I am tempted to buy the tram and the star ferry too...

ZARA boots for my daughter
Source: http://www.zara.com/
I was looking for soft leather boots for my daughter. And I didn't want to spend a fortune. After a couple of rounds through different shops I finally found these at ZARA. They are soft and come with a flexible rubber sole. And the price tag didn't make me go blind. So I brought them home tonight and my daughter didn't want to take them off anymore. So mummy and daughter are happy!

Cool jumper with umbrella
Source: Bobo choses
I am in love with this little jumper. I was considering to make one for my daughter. Just need to find a plain grey jumper first. Maybe H&M or ZARA? And GAP is going to open in Hong Kong soon. Need to check out what they have for babies...

Babyshoooooooooooes
Lot's of super cute handmade babyshoes. Just follow the links under the pictures to go to the instructions on how to make them yourself. For the first pair I found instructions on Martha Stewart: Martha Stewart - Instructions. But you better get started before the little one is there or you end up like me who collected all these fabulous instructions but never found the time to make any. And by now the little girl already wears real shoes...
